THIS MONTH’S MEETING

Seems Like Summer is Early  – As the weather improves, it’s time for us to start our summer road trips to different locations on our meeting dates.  I know that most would like to get on the road for the May meeting.  If you have a particular place, that you think that the club would enjoy cruising to starting in May, please let Leslie Romano or myself know.  We need to start planning our meeting locations for the upcoming months.  We would like to choose a May location no later than the 1st week of May.

 

Savannah Gathering – The Savannah Gathering is scheduled for 26th – 27th April.  The gathering this year will be held at the Savannah Convention & Trade Center with the cars being on display inside.  For those who are making the trip, we will meet at the Car Wash in Jackson, SC  (about Ό mile from the only traffic light in Jackson, on the right), between 12:00 – 12:30PM. 

 

Club Shirts and Hats – The lightweight shirts were received, and most are already sold.  I have 2 of the lightweight shirts left, (1- 2X Black and 1 – 2X Red).  In addition I have several of the regular club shirts left (red and white of various sizes) that are on sale for $15 each.

 

Phone List – The phone updated phone list was given to members present at the March meeting. For those who were not present, or did not receive one, I will mail them to you shortly.

 

Upcoming Events –

 

26th thru 27th April. Savannah Gathering- Savannah, GA.  This will be in lieu of the April meeting. 

 

 

 

11 May – Ecklers, Corvette Spring Fest 2002, Titusville, Fl. Pre-registration $15, $20 at the door. Judging will cover several year groups.  Contact Ecklers for additional info.

 

11 May – Kennesaw, GA – Location: Hooters of Kennesaw, 2102 Hwy 41

          Time:  10am – 3pm.  NO ENTRY FEE – CORVETTES ONLY

9 June – Vettestock Corvette Show

          Location:  Bogey’s Bar & Grill, 1085 Buckhead Crossing, Woodstock, GA

                          Exit 8 off I-575 –11am – 4pm Trophies for all generations of Vettes.
