This meeting is also the Annual Club Christmas Party.   We will be exchanging gifts (maximum $20) as we have in past years.   For those who have not participated in this exchange, it is a lot of fun for all.   The club will be providing all food and condiments for the party, with the exception of alcoholic beverages.   You may bring any alcoholic beverages that you wish to consume.

Directions from I-20:

Take the Belair Rd exit (194).
Make a right turn onto Belair Rd (left turn if you're heading east on I-20).
Proceed down Belair Rd to Columbia Rd (3rd traffic light).
Make a right turn on Columbia Rd. and proceed a little over a mile to Springlakes Dr.
(You will past the Columbia Professional Centre and Childs World Day Care on the right).
Take the first right just pass Childs World (Springlakes Dr) and an immediate left just past the traffic island into the clubhouse parking lot.

Turn left on Columbia Rd.
Proceed through the next traffic light; pass Kroger's on the right.
Get in your left hand lane.
The second left is Springlakes Rd. (turn left here).
You will pass the lake and swimming pool on the left.
(If you get to Childs World on the left, you have gone to far).

Tom was the only Corvettes of Augusta member to show up to the 5th Annual Augusta Technical College "United Way" Cruise In Car & Truck Show.   He chose not to eat at the Mexican restaurant.

The office of Club Vice President will be filled at the Club Christmas Party, which brings up a point. As most of you know, the club officer's positions have been filled by the same member's year in and year out, which the club has increased or maintained it's current membership levels. There are many of you who are qualified to be club Vice President. The club Vice President is responsible for planning the monthly meetings (locations and times), and IAW with the Club By-Laws; we must have a Vice President. Also, keep in mind that club officer's are exempt from paying club dues, during their terms in office. Let's work together to get this club position filled!

Your 2003 membership dues are due.   The dues are $50.   If you are a club officer, you do not own any dues.   Please mail your checks to Jeff Keevil.

Club shirts and hats are available in various sizes and colors.   Contact Ron Sanders for availability.

The Christmas party has been planned to take place on December 21, 2002 at the Spring Lake's clubhouse on Columbia Rd. in Martinez.   Additional information will be provided in the December newsletter.
