LAST EDITED ON May-31-03 AT 11:43 AM (EDT) DREAMER: If you wanna get an idea of the dips with CSC headlights look at Davids car, and I don't want to offend but the angel of the lights don't match the angle of the dips so it doesn't look like one or the other belong on the same car,so in the case of Davids car it might just look better without the dips, which brings me to this question, DAVID: if you want to get closer to the real GM MAKO are you going to redo your headlights???I have talked about doing different headlights on mine something like the GM Manta ray lights, I would match the rear angle of the light bucket to the front angle of the dips, then use the newer 2X4" quad lights these are the smallest factory headlamp there is, I would put a very lightly smoked cover over that to not mess up the peaked smooth flowing nose lines, I have been doing alot of this type thing in my computer photo shop I get to see what things look like without breaking a sweat. DREAMER: I don't know about understanding the dips, The GM MAKO DID have vents there, not dips mind you but that's only because they had grills over them, they were meant to let the hot air out of the radiator, however I have a picture of the GM show car and the radiator is more to the stock location so the vents didn't work on the show car. after reading all the Silva info Harry sent me I believe the man to be a design guru so he had something in mind, personally I like them, the makos without them seem to be missing something to me, but hey, my taste is always different to the flock. Cheers, T.
