I figured as much. Plymouth has a 3 speed v8 tranny called Torque-Flite but, how to link it with GM motor? I know theres got to be a way of doing it "these days" without sacrificing Horse Power. I believe theres a way of doing it as an add on mod without it needing to be any particular manufacturers motor or tranny. Like an after market adaptation, like a hurst shifter, without sacrificing Horse Power! McBrain I really have no clue though.

Why not just go ahead and drop in a HEMI ,then all you have to do is make motor mounts.
Now thats an idea but, if I had my choice, I'd have my cake and eat it too. Meaning, I'd prefer to stick with a GM set up with no mechanical shifting, Electric was what I had in mind. It makes it easier to accomplish or so I was thinking any ways. I just don't want to put some steeringcolumb or tranny in from another vehicle unless theres no other way to figure it out. Nearly a decade after Plymouth figures it out in 56, Corvette has it in the MSII only after the push button generation has died off. The MSII used it as a turn knob application where the horn would be. They did it some how and kept a GM set up. Reguardless, if their is a way i'd love to work with it assuming HP won't be sacrificed. Thanks to all thats posted so far. McBrain
