Marv.
Here are what the lights look like on the wagon.
There is still a little area in front of the nose but it is smooth all the way out.
Like I said before, I also did this to craigs car, but I dont have a pic right now. I put it back outside to put my car in my garage.
His is safely covered up for a while.

Randy...your wagon appears to have the headlight assembly in the stock opening, whereas your Maco and the car I showed earlier appear to have the headlights somewhat forward of the original openings. Is this just an illusion?

Thanks to all you guys for helping with ideas. I like the look of what we are discussing and probably can get something similar to be done on mine, but because of the work that will need to be done to reform the openings and 'glass the headlight assemblies in, I am also considering closing the original openings and going with headlights in the grill area.

Does anyone have any frontal views of cars with the headlights in the grill? I have a few but could use more ideas. I will be visiting with my body guy this weekend to lay out what will be done, so I don't have too much time to decide which way I will go on this.

Thanks again guys!!

"Marv......................... Great choice with the tag !!!!!!!!!!! You do realize that you'll have to pay me for using the "WDE BDY" on your tag too..............don't worry, you can pay me in monthly installments !!!!!!!!! LOL"

I love ya Man, but you'll have to put it on my account...

"It will be really awesome to park together with the same tag !!! How will we tell our cars apart?"

Mine will be the one with 3 deuces...and the white hood. You will be able to find yours in a field of 12,000 Vettes by finding mine first!!

That would be cool parking next to each other. How many people do you think will be doing a 'double-take' on that. So Rick- does that door edge guard around the plate protect the paint, or is it just for looks?. Am I the only one that noticed that??

Marv- these arent the best, but my car had the big headlights in the grill. They looked pretty cool. I saw this other shot of both of my cars, with the Shark lurking in the background and wanted to post it. It looked cool.

Thanks Scott...that's what I'm looking for. I am thinking one headlight on each side may look better than 2 to a side.

I've got a few vehicles lounging around with single headlights and a few with doubles...I'll take measurements and check mounting systems this weekend. I wish that I had taken closer pictures of rare1's Motion front because he has a hidden system with a bar grill in front.

What about those high intensity smaller version systems? They may be easier to fit into the grill opening and come in single or double headlights.

Today, I saw an older Oldsmobile (late 80s perhaps) that had tiny headlamps, but a 4 lamp system.
I was thinking they would look good on a custom.
Those things are probably easy to come by in a junkyard.
Sorry, but I dont have a pic.

I know what Randy is talking about. These are the lights I need for my Camaro. Here are a couple pics of them. I had measurements of them last year. I can look for them if you need it. It is a 1994 Olds Cutlass. 93+95' are pretty much the same. Cool thing is that there is a signal light also. It would take up some room, but they are angled back to contour with the car, so it might work.

Alright Guys!!! Now we are talking! These units have a contour that may work in the front of mine and it would solve the need for directionals. The Olds units are probably similar. I'll cruise the parking lots tonight and see what I can find.

Scott: Don't take time now to locate those measurements, but I may ask for them later, after I see what these units look like up close and personal.

97 camaro lights are olso stagered to follow body lines. They are about the same size as the olds lights. There are plenty of camaros around in these years mabey would not be hard to find or cost much.
