dreamer : Collecting is an ongoing lifelong experence.You can have anything you want,but you can't every thing you want!The first thing you need to focus on is a good education,then a good career.And then a chunk of change.Keep saving and try not to blow every penny on your first"prize",unless it's a finished project.You will usually sink more into it than the purchase price,or it's worth ,for that matter.Sometimes I have bought good deals, to fix up and sell, and put the money in another project.You've got to keep a couple traders to let go when you find that,gotta have,item.Buy low,sell reasonable but profitable,and in 20 or 30 years you too can have your very own boneyard.
