Finally!!!!
This project took from January 26 until September 21 to finish.
Here is what I did.
I cut out my louvers.
I turned them upside down and glassed aluminum strips to the underside to form a lip.
I took the unit to the local glass shop.
He cut and fitted seperate pieces of glass between each louver. The finished product looks awesome.
Now I just have to glass the louvers back on to the car.
The guy did one heck of a job, but it took for ever and cost almost the national debt.
You all want to know, so I'll tell you....$350.00 to make patterns, cut glass, install and seal the glass.
I guess at 30 bucks an hour, thats kinda cheap for what he did, I couldn't do it.
Anyway, I think I will repeat the process when David finishes the set of louvers he is building for me.
Unfortunately, the patterns are probably only good for that particular car, as we have discussed earlier, the louvers can vary in shape and arch etc.
I will post pictures of this set up maybe tonight if I get the chance.

Very cool!

Does each piece of glass have exactly the same curve (just consecutively narrower)? When I made my template for a window slat, I found that each of them do...

This thing had sat for years with no support, so they were all a little different as far as the distance between slats. The guy tried to make them as uniform as possible.
I doubt if the glass could be shortened and remain interchangible.
Guess, its just how they come out of the molds.

I probably wouldn't have that issue due to my slats have never been cut
