You know it's pretty funny Randy that you had this idea. I was thinking
the same damn thing about adding individual glass pieces to each slat
just like you did but i thought of this idea before finding this site
and that was five years ago when i purchased the car. Good idea thou.

We all have ideas... for most people that is all they are... pipe dreams.

Randy tends to have good ideas and then does something with them. That is where the difference lies.

The successful side of this board is not about posting pipe dreams, but about getting things done, like Randy, like Wayne, like Carl, like Attila... and every now & then me...

Nobody cares a rats ass about pipe dreams except for other people that only have pipe dreams as well.

If I had the time and the skills to realize my ideas... and money of course

Man, its all about effort. Doing nothing is worthless. Time wasted can never be regained. A little time makes all the difference.

I asked a glass man some days ago: he told me he can arrange a rear tempered glass, with the writings about laws and standards (italian laws require windows approved by TUV or whatever alse).

the point is that rear custom glass is plain! i don't think it will fit as a replacement for the plexyglas which looks like plain but maybe it isn't!

the other way is to make a custom rear glass but not tempered! that's really dangerous! and the metal mold where to put the glass will cost a fortune!

I really hope to pass TUV inspection with that plexy and louvers!
