I dont know witch way I will end up going but I will geter done.Has any one had a glass rear window made. Mine came with a plexy glass that ended up so scarde and dirtty that I really dont want to go the same way again. The power tour was in town to day and it was quite the show thousands of cars. I was there for around four hours and the cars kept comming in.They had every thing from holly crap to what is this car doing here.LIKE my honda. It raind hard for a while and my mako has no back window but I was sorry I didnt drive it I did not see any other makos.

It is rare to see a Maco at all, anywhere!

I had glass slats made to fit between my louvers. Look cool as hell and no distortion! It cost me about 300 bucks to have it done, but now it is easy to clean and no removing, best of all, no leaks!

great car, lips on the rear wheels would help. All in all this is a great looking ride, congratulations.

Randy, I'd like to know more about your glass slat treatment. Can you send me a picture or two and details? How are the slats mounted?

There are pics on here somewhere, but I will take a couple of shots and post them.
They are attached with the stuff the glass companies use.
What I did was cut the slats out in one unit and took it to the glass shop.
They installed the glass and I brought it back home and reglassed the unit in the car.

Hi- I just realized that your car does not have the higher , I think it was 21/2 inch higher wheelwell openings. You may know this, but I didnt notice it before. So, especially watch the rear openings for rub problems esp on accelerating- if you plan to be doing some of that!
