Was glad when i heard Steven came back home well after that long trip. Here a few more new pictures. Motor compartment; quite OK for a 36 year old car
here the rearend; in good condition and ready to be stripped and sold
rear suspension; also OK and only light surface rust Well the exhaust system anyway has to go to be replace with side exhaust
all in all was very surprised about the good frame condition
interior is used but everything there; anyway will be completely upholstered
What's going on next you ask ? Well, Steven and me driving crazy with a lot of coolest ideas. We just let our ideas free flow.
It's more like two Mako freaks found together as a crazy Duo, name it friends. http://www.cybergate-corp.ch/mako_clip/

I have to believe that you can get some money back for that '81/'82 rear cap, front end, and other parts. Don't sell youself short in recouping some of your investment! You're my new hero for diligence and focus... I wish you the very best. Your Mako will mean alot to you when finished. You got knocked down hard, got up fast, and moved forward with focus. Trials and tribulations build character. ~Tim Bro' FF

Hi Tim, thanks for the heads up. there was a point when i had a down and not anymore sure if ever will find a appropriate car. But Steven built me up again and gave me hope. And finally he was the one which made all this happen. Without him and his support never it would have happened. Some day i'm sure i can meet him personally and have a good time together. LAST EDITED ON Dec-09-10 AT 06:24 PM (EDT) A short update on the history behind my Mako front. This afternoon i find out much more then ever expected about my front. -------------------- A half Mako on a 73 based Vette was built for a 5-star US-general in the 70ths. Then per air freight sent to american headquarters in Wiesbaden. But also included was the not assembled Mako frontend. Then 1991 it was sold to a citizen of Wiesbaden. Again the half-Mako and the whole unassembled front. At the end of the 90ths the car was sold to somebody in Frankfurt which hold it since 2008. Again the car and the unassembled front. After that it was sold to two brothers in Mainz wanted the sell the car but also the complete front but for additional money. The complete unassembled front was sold to me while i called the seller. He then told me to wait a week if some intereste people for the car would pay also for the front. After a week i called again and we negotiated a price and he reserved it to me. The car afterwards was sold at 1st of september to somebody else. http://www.cybergate-corp.ch/mako_clip/
