Lol...I have a 69 convertible and a mako kit...this is what I had plannned, but I will have ZL-1 not L-88 flares and Firebire tail lights and add the louvers section to the removable hard top,
I do have all the parts, just have too darn much going on right now to do the conversion.

This threads car is sweet.

I do not have a clue why the only makos that seem to worthy a high ( asking ) price tag are the ones owned by members here, lol,
I mean really, 12-15 on this car is a huge steal if I gauge it by what some ask for, Ahem....low end project...near basket cases...some with a hodge podge of miss matched parts....etc etc,

In todays market and economy it's not always the best idea to return a custom to stock unless the original car was very very rare.

This car could very well fetch that 12-15 k as is....do the paint a bit more tasteful ( imho )and ask the 100 or so plus K that one fellow was asking....but in reality this is one of the nicer survivers I have seen....stock rear or not...I have seen cars with mako front clips and a lot worse rear bumpers....

I hope I did spoil someone trying to steal this one.....

Cheers,
P.
