frame is cleaning up easily,but dusty.
first we prep/scrub,then rust treat then paint .
treatment has 24 hr set up time before over coat.
this is not a show car.really isn't bad,
will make a nice driver.what could be better.

Didn't like the looks of mount # 4
decided to bite the bullet and pull
the body off.Only one nut cage came
loose ,had to make a special tool
because the convertibles are harder.
all bolts unscrewed easily ,one had
a corroded head .Lucky it turned ,now
I'll start disconnecting the particulars
so I can slide the frame out from under it

convertiblles require 1 more strap,a metal bar
at gas fill and a ratchet strap ,worked well.

some one moulded a section in on rear
not a good job.it captured the frame and
all eyes didn't see this .needed to be
redone anyway .

BOdy on stands frame on ground now we can
replace # 4 mount reinforcment ,brake and fuel
lines and trailing arm bolts.

frame was in nice shape for a 69 from new england,
clean up, rust treatment and repaint,this week
waiting for rivets.no build sheet on gas tank .

had 40 degrees outside so outside i went .
36 grit surface prep pads,then rust treatment
today.even got the trailing arm pivot bolts out.
24 hr curing period then we can paint.
