Started rh # 4 reinforcement, rivet tool is not all
its cracked up to be,ball peens work good to start
then finish up w/rivet set. Bucking bar not heavy enough
convertibles offer special challenges on access.

Here is a trick for the imposible rivets.
place rivets in bracket, tack weld a backer.
install braket.start and peen rivets but not tight
Once all rivets are located and semi snug finish peening
to tighten assembly. mike

also if you have the spring out,it's easy to
reinstall.put a 3/8 spacer between every second
coil. The spring will then be long enough to install.
pull out the spacers one by one or close the cover and
they will fall out.Use steel and a magnet. Now we have
a little fiberglass work, previous bubba didn't grind before
applying.glad its just a few spots,he wasn't the one who built the car.
