On Friday we canceled our party for Saturday... then it showered a little in the morning... was glorious blue skies the rest of the day until around 6pm when it showered a little for 15 minutes and then was nice again.

How about you, everything doing fine there?

Man, we were ready for the worst. fortunately, we were a little too far west. We had a rainy Saturday and today is just cloudy. I washed the wifes black 94 which made it rain, as usual.
Hope we are as lucky with the next 2 storms.

Hi Randy
Well I like the firebird tail lights. I think it looks better then what Ive seen yet, but Im wondering how the cone lights would look on the Mako rear end

The firebird lights are tricky. You dont have much room to get the bulbs replaced, so the mid year style lamps (or any lamp like that) are more user friendly. I have to unhook my gas tanks and slide them around just to replace the bulbs. Its a pain.
I guess its all about individual taste. Use whatever you like as long as its your choice.

Hello,

First time posting here, wanted everyone to know I have a '70 Mako Shark II up here in Northern Colorado, about an hour north of Denver. Have not had it long, just finding out it has bloodlines from GM ( and all these years I thought it was nothing more than a kit for a Vette ) and I am hearing about a Silva vs Motion vs something else, etc. Is there anyway I can find out what my car is? It has a big block with an automatic, power steering and brakes and air. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I wonder if there is a comprehensive book on all the specifics, etc. I do know that it is not a Manta Ray. I haven't seen any Mako with the door 'risers?' that go up above the door handle up into the rear of the body of the car. The car is about 75 %, should have it running soon. Looking forward to hearing back from all you experts. Thanks, Nico

We need to see some pictures to figure who built the kit.
I dont know of any formal book on information about the kits.
