Mar-10-10, 08:28 PM (EDT) I have been away from home for a couple of weeks, looking after my dad and his knee replacement ordeal. During my absence, A Conn. Yankee came to King Randys Court! (Bad pun on an old movie) Bill Valentine stopped by to say Hi and check out my junk. Janet had to pinch hit and show him around.... she couldn't unlock my garage...Hummmmmm... guess I forgot to give her a key to that.... Anyway Bill was lurking on the Daytona which sits patiently outside of my shop waiting on its turn inside for repairs... He wants the car... do I keep it or sell it???? decisions, decisions... Hate I missed you Bill, ole buddy, maybe next time I will get some advanced notice! (isn't that the way the Yankees did it last time?) Ya gots it wrong there sunny... the Yanks had to come out from Wisconsin after tellin' yall to stop messing with the price of shine...game over. Plans are for a '93 ruby/ruby vert, a real fine example of a '65 coupe, and I'm planning on the '73 WB vert making the trip... Depends on what happens between now & then... Might be a '09 coupe, a 07 vert, & a '75 coupe if plans change. I sent pictures of our cars to the folks coming from here. Told them to be on the look out for "One-Eyed Willie" and the coffin chariot. Who knows... still a lot of time until then. Gus lost his job, so I dont know if he will be able to make it. Gonna have to find some more southern boys to even it up a little. Mar-12-10, 08:38 AM (EDT) Craig has only 3 more treatments to go. He is having trouble with his platelette count, must be above 100 to get a treatment. they let him go last week with a 99. Thats a long 3 days just sitting there watching that stuff run into him. Yea, gus got the shaft.... corperate america at its best.
