The red maco in the garage belongs to Tom Whynott of Plymouth MA,
had it advertized in the local auto hunter for $12,500.
I raced down there, as you can imagine these thing only show up about once A year.
Took the pictures, he wasn't around, got in touch with him later,
told him the car needed A $12,500 restoration,
(trying to talk him into selling it to me for A song),
didn't work, ended up motivating him into restoring it himself,
Bob and I drove there one day to see the progress,
he suprised me he was doing a pretty good job,
obviously had mechanical ability, but the last I heard he bought A bigger house,
last time I talked to him it was in his garage under A pile of boxes, half restored.
You gotta think if he wanted 12.5 unrestored, whats he want now that he spent more $ on it,
oh, get this, John told him it was one of only two big blocks he built.
