This weekend I think will finally convert this forum software over to the newer forum software that I bought. So if you try to visit & can't get to the forum it may be that I have the forum disabled during the upgrade.

This isn't going to be happening after all... my older son had a wreck yesterday where he totalled his car, he's not hurt, except for discomfort from the air-bag hitting him in the face & chest. But it did throw off our whole weekend... funny how life does that sometimes.

Glad he was not hurt. Was that the one that came up with you?

You speak of things changing. Right now, I would sell all my sharks and never go into the garage again.
I dont want to talk about it.

Nope, Rob is the younger son. Adam is the older.

Hope you can speak of it soon... and that you don't need any kind of therapy. I hope you didn't get hurt.

Speaking of no sharks... I'm considering putting the big block into my '68 Camaro when I get it back from the body shop, instead of the Maco.

I hope all is OK and he didn't get any long term damage. Accident's take a few days for the pain to come out.Cars can be replaced (except a shark),people can't. Definately stinks how life works sometimes. Randy- I'm curious what ails you- Bad day in the garage, probably. Discouraging sometimes. For me -2 weeks ago I got my 60 day notice to find a new job, after 19 years in the company. My group is being 'surplused'. I hate life sometimes. The only thing that gives is fun for me right now is that I have a set of 20" chrome wheels at my body shop that fit my van. I tried 1 on and it looks cool. I just dont know how much they will cost. Deal time I hope. No money for that stuff right now, but how often do you come across a set of DUB's cheap?? Keep your heads up....

Ow. I'd hate to see that... Glad he didn't get hurt. Imagine what they felt when it happened...
A little curve ball from life I guess.

OMG! Sorry to hear the news David, I hope he gets to feeling better soon I'm glad he's not hurt as bad as he could have gotten hurt. At first I thought you where talking about the 67. It's a good thing it wasn't a classic that got thrashed but a bad thing it even happend at all.

Wow- lots of damage on such a small car. He is lucky- I assume he had his seatbelt on. I swear by them. What did he hit- a truck?? Definately glad it wasn't the classic.

He said that he doesn't always wear his seatbelt, he did have it that morning. Yes, he hit the back of a Chevy Silverado. The sun was in his eye, the light was green, the car ahead of the Silverado was moving, the Silverado wasn't... He's blind in his right eye, so he doesn't have depth perception.

What is that, a Geo Metro? He's lucky he was wareing a seatbelt otherwise this might have been a different discussion. How fast was he driving when it happend? You said he's blind in one eye, does that mean he has sight just not that good or no sight at all in the one eye? Not to get personal but, was it a welding mishap that one eye is bad?

Thanks
