Man it sure does cost alot to work on a vette.
I've already replaced the Carb with a holly 650,
I'm working on the shifter right now and will soon start
on the entire braking system. Work has taken me a while
due to financial reasons but I'm trying. I'm going to wait
for the mean time to post any photos till I can get my
own digital camera, they cost alot and right now, I'd
rather spend that money on Corvette parts.

Hey Bryan.Glad to hear from you again.Yeah,they charge a surcharge on anything marked Corvette or powerstroke(FORD joke).Some of the guys are really coming along with their cars.There are a ton of new guys and an acre and a half of widebodys and customs.Randy finally got his wagon.There are new categories in the custom forums.I'm glad to hear you still have Dixie.Welcome back, Craig.

Wayne you ever make those molds you were talking about last year?

I still needed that drivers side piece we talked about. I'm gearing
up to get her primered but I need to fix that side piece and then
get her ready for primer and paint.

I know we've talked about it but if you haven't done so already
then perhaps there is somebody I can just send my piece to to
have it fix? Any ideas? It's been a thorn in my side for 9 years
and I need to get this done do I can drive her down the street
looking sharp.

Yeah now that I'm divorced she cant take my money
that I save to fix Dixie and now I can make progress.
It has been to long my friend, perhaps I should call
you but I lost allot of data in the move so I'll need
to re-acquire your digits.

I did get a new camera but a friend took it from me
so now I am without camera again, fear not though I
will get a camera again and become a productive
member of the group. I have not forgotten about y'all
and now that I'm getting the ball rolling again I will
be needing more information and or help in the near
future in getting Dixie going.

BTW, I recently was looking for a thread I created a
year or two back that housed avatar's I had created.
I had a problem locating that thread, perhaps it was
taken down? If anybody finds it can you please post a
link to it here.

I was talking about Ike, but wow! what happened with the wife. I didn't realize there was anything that bad. I hope you are ok with everything. Sounds like your happy. I'm sorry to hear about it. Yeah Ike missed use here in Austin but the evacuees didn't
miss us (again). I hate evacuees! They all act like a bunch
of anamils with no common sense and their very rude to boot.

Yes went through a divorce, it was nasty and she took
everything because she could afford a lawyer and I couldn't.

I'm doing ok, trying to get by but it's tough. Only thing
thats keeping me going is the fact that I can date again
and that I happen to be a relitivly good looking atractive
guy in a city that gets a fresh load of freshmen every year.

Always did take car of the children, they are the only ones
that will be my saving grace through all of this, they saw
what was going on with their mother and they know whos done
what and watched me be the good guy through it all, in the
end it will be the kids that relize I was the good one and
responcible one but it still doesn't change the fact I lost
my wife, that was a lose that will take me years to over come.
I still love here even after all shes done to me.

I managed to keep my cloths and my Corvette but lost
everything else that really matters. She took the house and
everything in it, my truck and even child support even though
she clears 90k a year and I bearly get by with 14k a year.
After all nothing says I love you like a big kick to the head.

I'll get over the lose of my love in time and it sucks really
bad but I will overcome it and it will make me strounger and
wiser for the next go-round.

kind of looked like a modern Manta Ray. It was red and very
nice. Can somebody find that and post the link for me.

I don't think it was a concept vehicle but more like a persons
design of what the next Vette should look like. I liked it alot,
does anybody remember this post and what the link was?

The car is called corvette z03 it is not made buy chevy but some company named Urger Sahem Designes or some thing like that. If you serch youtube for corvette z03 you find soom cool pics.
