gasoline..which is best

OK....was out SAt. night with about 10 of my vette buddies..They have everything from C1's to C5's...and a custom guy or 2 as well...Topic of gas came up..everyone is complaining about the price, but we started talking about which gas SUCKS and which to use....

Consensus..WAWA is lousy!! Also, something that really struck me was most of them said the same thing for SUNOCO!!

What do u guys use and think?:D

I use mobil myself.

I'll use anything other than "Citco" owned by Venezuela and or Argentina
but run by Hugo Chaves which is fast on his way to becoming a communist
dictator, speaking negetive about US troops and supporting Fidel Castro
who openly supports terrorists.

When I was younger I noticed it took a few years for the price of gas
to rise just 15 cents, in 2002 the price here was 1.30, now it's 2.85.
Something is majorly wrong with that. We are being gouged big time
and very uneccessarily. Normal rhythm should have us paying no more
than 1.55 to 1.60 by now but not 2.85 or shall I say 5.00 in Cali. all
the while the major Gas company owners/board members are seeing

In the dark ages, 1972, I bought my first tank of fuel.
Regular was 29.9 cents per gallon.

It now costs 10 times that. I don't make 10 times what I did in 1972.

Something seems out of whack.

i bought my first tank of gas in '73 at age 16....I could pretty much fill up my car for $5.00 and give change back to my parents!!!

Just like at mcdonalds back then....2 burgers, fries and a coke for under a $1.00.....What a cheap date I was...(LOL)

I use AMOCO for gas and most any kind of diesel. About as far back as i care to remember is 1966 when i was drafted into the Army, gas was around 27cents per gallon . i was paid a whoping $90.00 a month for my service. well now gas is $2.86 cents yesterday. 10x the price in 66 but i do make considerably more than 10 times what i was making then so i guess i cant complain.

Think about this then..if in '66 Waynes paying @ 27 cents a gallon and in 72 or so Randy and I are paying @30 cents a gallon...the raise was @3 cents in a span of 6 years...

Of course that was back when Energy companies did not pay income tax. Good old Jimmy Carter fixed that. Guess who gets to pay their taxes.

I remember buying gas ata station in Hazelton, PA in 1963 for 19 cents per gallon. I use any gas as long as it's high test..you can tune a car to run on anything.

normaly we use a size that fits the page without needing to scroll
side to side.

Probably 800 x 600 or 600 x 400

I use any gas that is cheap. I paid $2.98 yesterday, and used 1/2 a tank today. This sucks!!! Nice vette. I noticed the shark on it too. I like the seats, they look sporty-comfy"" I hope they are not the cheap APC type.

I'd like to take this time to coment on the gas issue.....UUUHHHHH i was still a wet spot in 72 so i will keep listening to your comment's. See that was easy......I love AMERICA !!!!!!!!
