MaCo shark photos Gordy?

Gordy my name is C.J. Kimmeth I live in The Orlando area. I've been a Mako and MaCo shark Corvette fan ever since I could pretty much stand. Now Im 18 , I've got a huge collection of old vette magazines with MaCo Shark Corvette pictures and articles. and I have a large collection of framed pictures of MaCo's as well. If there is any chance you could send some extra prints normal sized pictures to me of your car I would really appreciate it Im willing to pay for them.

Ps: I have seen a green MaCo just like your around the PittsBurg area over spring break last year when I went to visit my dad. Was your car ever green ?

Hey... Yes I do have quite a large collection of old magazines and photos that were taken of Mako's and MaCo's my father and several of his friends have turned over to me boxes and boxes of old Corvette magazines . And I took the time to go through every one page by page. I am sure I have some photos that no one has ever seen or that no one has seen in a long time of custom Corvettes and of MaCo's . I assume that 90 percent of the photos of the Original MakoII are on the net somewhere But I am positive I have some photos that have not made it yet. I am interested in getting some normal sized pictures of peoples MaCo's from this site so I can blow them up and ad them to the rest of my collection. My room looks like a Corvette library every magazine , ad , photo , and drawing is put in order by date so nothing goes missing. Please anyone that can send me photos of your cars Let me know I'll be more then willing to pay for them, and more then willing to make copys or send original doubles of things in my collection back , in trade for photos of anyones sharks from this site. Do you have a scanner?

Right now I do not have a scanner but there are several at my moms work and I can scan stuff from there.

what you've got via email. I will return the favor

out all the sources like I have, looking for new

David I have several magazines with some amazing photos of MaCo's Evena couple prostreet dragster ones. I have magazines that show several different looking MaCo's I even have a slide video from the mid 60's that was recently put onto a normal sized tape that has some beautiful shots of MaCo's back in the 60's when the big deal was just beginning. I just found out last night my sister has a scanner so as soon as I get hold of her I'll ask her if I can scan several things and send them your way.

Getting a quality scan is an art form in itself. So many pictures have copy protection built into them, when printed in books & magazines. Some photo processing software has the ability to remove the pattern, but sometime it is just better to figure out which resolution to scan at to minimize the pattern.

Hey David Do you have the actual photos of Gordys MaCo or did he just scan you the pictures of his Vette? BEcause on one wall in my room is nothing but pictures of different MaCo's from Motion , Ecklers , Silvia , and others . I am really interested in aquiring some actual prints of Gordy's car so I can blow them up and add them to the rest of the Mako's and MaCo's on my wall. Im trying to fill one wall completely with custom corvette photos MaCo's everything, its coming along but its still not even half full. so if you can help me please let me know I'll provide a home mailing address, and in return I'll send you copys of anything and everything I have.

He sent me the low resolution digital images that you see here on the board. I asked him for higher resolution photos, but he responded that might take a whole 'nuther year.

Hi guys,
I'll try to get round to taking some hi res pix. Being a computer kinda guy I don't usually ever print photos. I usually have them on the PC or on CD and send them via email. I don't know about printing and mailing, that sounds like work to me ;)
