1980 Daytona

Well, I really don't know where to post about my car, since, its kinda a widebody, and it kinda looks like a greenwood. People are quick to say its not a greenwood, but in reality, it doesn't exactly fit in with the widebody style. I guess I will post here and avoid the christmas rush to judge.

With the weather being nice for the past 2 days, I have been able to finally start doing a little to the car.
I have stripped most of the paint off of it and I took the moonroofs off and put them in the garage. I put a set of astro tops on it for the time being. Anyway, I am making some progress. The weather is supposed to return to winter tomorrow with a cold rain for the next several days... oh well, at least something has been accomplished with the car.

Greenwood GTO (the only C3 kit still in production) right down to the rims. Need to change the hood though.

Randy, how did you strip the paint?????................. so quick!! Did you sand ?....... scrape ? chisel ??

............. looks like if you had a couple more days of good weather, you'd have paint on both the vettes !! Keep up the good work !!

I believe mine to be an ecklers Daytona kit.
Note the difference between the rear on mine and on the GTO.
Those wheels do look the same.
This kit looks like Andy's Greenwood.

YUP It does look like mine. Greenwood made several variations on the hood for the daytona models. Black and White will look nice, but then again, I'm partial to those colors.

That would make one hell of a billboard for my business, painted and stripped with my colors it would be hard to miss

You need it, but its not for the faint of heart... needs everything although everything is there.
Four grand? how can you go wrong?
