I was wanting to get some info from you guys. I found this car in a guys side yard with a for sale in the window. I called the man and he stated it was a 68 vette with a rebuilt 350 4spd. Car does run but can not drive. He did not know a lot about the car and wanted me to make offer.

What do you think?

Well, it is more rare to find one that is a panel instead of the window one. 68s are kinda funky.... looks like it doesnt have air.
give us as much info as you can... does it run, any options etc.
cool looking car, but the front grille treatment needs some modification... imho.

The engine is a stock goodwrench crate engine.
I did not take a photo because it was nothing special. The only thing it had was a performer intake and some no name headers.

I think the man picks up cars to just to resell. He could not tell me very much at all. He kept calling it a greenwood car.
I did not hear it run and the tires were flat so you could not see much. The front reminded me of a Opel GT. I thought it was a little funky.

The car has a lot of potential if you can get it for the right price.
Just remember that customs never seem to bring as much as stock cars.
This should work to your advantage... with the wrong motor, no ac and the many body mods, this should work to your advantage to score the car for a decent price!

Check the birdcage and especially the frame if its been on the ground awhile. Go to www.greenwoodcorvettes.com so you can point out why this car is NOT a Greenwood. Offer him 3500 and see where it goes. If you can get it for under 5K it should make a good starting point. But as Randy said, do it because you want it and don't plan on making money (or breaking even, sometimes)/:\

Good Job Keith!
At least we know more about the car.... That is a unique front end treatment. No A/C. It looks alot better with the tires pumped up and moved out of the weeds.
