After the bad return trip from Carlisle, I have got the wagon going again.
The initial problem came when the seal around the crankshaft in the timing cover came out. this allowed the engine to pump oil like a texas oilwell all over the place. Luckily I made it home without problem.
The seal was replaced along with a new water pump. While at Carlisle, I purchased a complete fan/radiator from Dewitts. Exact fit..... not exactly.
Gus came over to help with that install. We had to move the installed fan shroud all the way over to the right to allow for clearance of the left upper A arm. We still had to trim a little off of the back side of the shroud to allow it to clear.
All is back together including the new Air cleaner... will post pics soon. The car heats up to around 200 degrees and the fan comes on and it cools down to about 170 and they cut off. I do not know how it performs with the A/C on or in traffic, but they promised me that the car will not overheat! We shall see, as I hope they are telling the truth. Maybe I will have time to get it on the road this weekend. I hope I dont have to do any more mechanical stuff to it for a while... I really hope it doesnt overheat!!!
Back on track.

Glad you got her back together..................... hopefully the weather will clear and you can get out and drive .........!!!
I bought the double fans and eliminated the shroud...;-)
Last words in fatal accidents for 49 of 50 states are "Oh Sh*t!" Final words in Wisconsin are "Hold my beer, I'm gonna try somethin'..."
Mine came with double fans and was in a shroud. Being aluminum, you can't attach the fans through the radiator with the plastic ties because the aluminum is so thin... per Dewitt. mine has brackets on the top and bottom. I will post pictures when I get a chance. These fans were molded in a shroud thingie... easier to see when and if i get some pics posted. Working at the water plant for a couple of days to help them out... superintendent came down with kidney stones, so I am his stunt double for a day or so.
