COOOOOL modifications!!!
Dana
They are somewhere in Florida, so you will probably see them at a show down there.

Interesting...
It started as a basic Ecklers Daytona body kit, but it's nice to see personal touches to a "kit"
Cheers, T.
Any idea where in Florida?
Dana
Sound like it would be close to you guys in Orlando... The club site those photos came from, is Central Florida Corvette Association.

Oh Yeah....I know some of the Members.
One of them, John Hutchinson, took a Z06, and made it into a convertible, with the 1996 Grand Sport paint sceme. It is beautiful!!

I know where several Custom vettes are, they seem to never be driven, not trailer queens just always parked...
I guess I got bored with the wide body kits after I did batvette I still find them cool, I've just been trying to get back to the grass roots of one off customs...
Makos are good for that since no two I've seen are alike.
Those are pretty Kewl.
I added the ''fins'' as you call them. I called them ''gills''!! The louvers on top of the front fenders.
Well DUH me!! I took a closer look!!! there are FINS on the tops on the fenders!!!!!!!!!!
(getting old....where's my reading glasses???????LOL)
STW!!

You also notice it has c-4 side mirrors, I have a set for my project, all you have to do is make a small adapter to get the angle right and then you have the wide low look of the the c-4 mirror on a c-3....
Wonder if the fins on that car act as fixed rudders at high speeds?:+
Cheers, T.
Also make note of the "moon roofs" They are a great custom touch and add the extra headroom that some of us taller folks need. I have a set on the purple car, but I would like to find another for the white one. I got mine in Carlisle for $200 for the pair. I told you guys, this year in Pa is gonna be great! dont miss out.

A "Like new" set of those tops went thru ebay for like 320.00 see ebay price vs swap meet price... the early double style latches, I would love to have them on my car dont think ive seen them in single latch style...
In fl I get enough sun beating on me, I would use headliners anyway...
so I may just get a nice set of fiberglass tops, I wouldnt need tops at all but the drivers glass one is shattered on mine...
Cheers, T.
Man, if you need fiberglass tops, I'll give you a set, you will need to put your hardware on them because they are double latch ones.
My moonroofs have the single latch set up like on the 78 and up cars, so I modified my car to accomodate this.
If you want the tops, say the word and I'll add it to the pile. Let me know what you want for your tops although one is damaged, I may be able to move them for you, I know a guy that needs glass tops.
