Now this is interesting, you remember that story I told you under "The gallery of Pictures" in my name at the owners section? about the high dollar Mako that got rearended at turkey rod run? Well I responded to CJs ad here with some pics for his collection and he tells me all about that car, and the story behind it, I've got him looking into it to find out more about its current status, and have encouraged him to participate with us his findings, still trying! you know the old adage, he said, she said, I heard, and they told two friends and so on and so on, thats how it works, do'nt know what will come of it, but I never give up. CJ,? Tell em what you told me in your email!

MaCo

Herry if you read this message e mail me back as soon as you can. at cjmakoii@aol.com I was on my way home from work over by the fair grounds in Orlando When I noticed a corvette ahead of me that looked exactly like the one I saw quite a while back in Daytona , that MaCo that got hit in the rear end deal at the Turky Rod Run so I followed it for a while till I managed to catch it , and the guy said he did indeed buy the car in Daytona beach but when he bought it he said there was not really that much damage to it , I laughed and asked where the damage was he said the rear end was all messed up so I think I found it mah man. E mail me when you get a chance I got the plate numbers and I have a general idea where the guy lives so After work sometime soon i'll drop in on him and see if I can get some pictures providing the weather is nice. And if he lets me. I'll see what I can do for you man.

MaCo

Hi Harry, My name is Art I was curious when it was that you had spoken to the man in Daytona. I had purchased a mako shark in Daytona about 9 years ago. This car had been hit in the rear. The mako used to be a showcar. This car sat in a dealership showroom. Just curious if this is the same mako. I have been trying to trace out some history on this car. I will be researching to find out who, where and when this car was built. Thanks ART

Build it the way you want it and drive it like you Stole it
