Andy, they don't attach to the rocker panels....... they attach to the pipes, with straps. I had to adapt the straps to get them to fit the full 4 inch pipe --- the cobra pipes have indentations of 3 inches for the straps to fit in, so I fabbed a longer rear strap and had to cut (and shorten) the shield mounts to get the shield closer to the pipe. Couldn't open the door ! Took awhile and had to be rewelded -- large hose clamps might have been easier !!! Rick

If my old memory servers me........ I think I paid $245.00 for them ! I wanted chrome covers, but the only ones they had in chrome were shorter and had that 4 clover pattern (which I didn't want !) I got the brushed stainless steel in the slotted pattern -- and actually I think they look great with the coated sidepipes. (since it's really hard to keep them polished brightly, since I drive it all the time !)
I will tell you it makes a big difference with the heat --- haven't burned my leg since the install !!! Rick

You might want to try a company called Spiro Turbo Baffles
http://www.spiralturbobaffles.com/customers.html
If you run header side pipes, then these mufflers are a must!
Major increase in horsepower and torque over other brands.
They used to offer a cover similar to the ones above.
But, if you could ever find a set of these, thats the way to go!
Yes, they are mine, and someday I plan on reproducing them, but when, I cant say.
