Finally the glass is layed on the mako. From the mid door back around to wrap the rear end.We shaped all the foam glued foil to it and started laying the glass over it.while we were at it I had them make a extra set of parts just in case.We then pulled off the first set of parts. They came off pretty good I had to replace the foil but that was easy.We then made the second set after we pulled that set off I had to remove all the foam and bond on the new parts. The body man cried as I tore the foam off.All the hours off shaping gone in about 30 min.The car is looking good but it is taking for ever.

Jim...it sounds like your project is back on track. Great to hear that!!!

Years ago, I made a "master" for a car body...but it was never used for more than the setup for the molds...made out of wood, paper, body putty, and fiberglass, anything to give it the final shape. Looked like a real body when finished. Things are different now.

Post some pictures as soon as you can...your attachment didn't work. I'm looking forward to seeing how your car is coming along.

Hope to see you in Carlisle this year or at Effingham again.

Last words in fatal accidents for 49 of 50 states are "Oh Sh*t!" Final words in Wisconsin are "Hold my beer, I'm gonna try somethin'..."
