What a nice one. I know for a fact this ones a Motion but
thats all because I can tap into the collective consciousness. :+
I know we've had this debate before but, all the lines are there.
This thing screams Motion Proformance. I know I'm beating a dead
dog with you "untill Joel Rosen signs off on it" guys, I just feel
that this one is right. Unfortunate that the current owner wants to
abuse the history by only owning it for a little while and just
wants to make a profit off flipping it. Probably the only reason he
purchased it but, I don't want to be judgmental though.
Ray probably sold this one no more than 8 months ago for around 40k,
to short of time before this ones back on the market at more than
double the going rate months back. Doesn't mean it's not worth it
though. }>
Thanks for reposting this one Andy.

NO point falling in love with these things, if you can make a few bucks . Sell it and find another one. I dont know exactly how many corvettes i have owned in my life, and i do wish i had some of them back. Probably over 100, but if i had not sold them i would not have the ones i have now. well i have sold 26 in the last 4 years. and will probably sell 6-8 more this year.

I agree with both of you*,somewhat. The comment I made about giving anyone $1500 to document the car.If they told me to keep digging,I would want to dig in their pocket and get my $$$$ back.I also feel this is a motion car.About it being one of three manta rays???how many where there?Again, how many sharks did motion build?Does anyone have the slightest idea? What's your best guess?I wish they'd have kept better records.About selling it,If he can get close to what he wants for it,sell it.To someone who appreciates it.
Nobody kept any records back then, GM dont even have any records of the BB cars before 72.

$20,000.00 already within the first few days. Not bad....Will NOT hit the reserve, but as we get closer to the "car season" here on the east coast, i would think the bidding will go higher than the last auction ending at $29,000.00

ROFL! dig in their pocket and get my $$$$ back.
Yeah, no denying it's Motion but I've got my doubts about it being
a Manta, It should have the GT Front headlights if it was.
How many Motions, who knows for sure, how many Maco's my guess is
around 100 to 150 Motion Maco's alone, not including the other
versions from other builders.

I have spent many hours looking at this car in person.
Here is my opinion.
The car was built by motion.
It is not one of the missing Manta Rays.
See?
You get that from me for zero dollars and it means as much as
Rosen saying "keep digging".

Last words in fatal accidents for 49 of 50 states are "Oh Sh*t!" Final words in Wisconsin are "Hold my beer, I'm gonna try somethin'..."

My car has the motion emblem on the console just like this one.Does yours Brian?I wish I would have saved the old window sticker when the windshield was changed.

That emblem was put on by Johnnymaco, it was not on the car when he got it.
Could you post some pics of your car?

I talked to the guy with the Mako on the phone, he did sell it. If anyone knows of a good driver Mako for sale he is interested in purchasing one.

Did he say if he got the 100 large for it?
I had the chance, like we all did about 3 years ago to buy it for 18k and passed.

Then I should have no problem getting at lest 30k for as is condition like mine. :+ lol
J/J :) Well, interesting to see that somebody would forklift that much
cash over a Maco. Motion or like we see here "otherwise"...
Even though we all know what this one is, maybe the waters is
warmer than previously anticipated. :+
Hell, we can all blow up stories of ours now! :+
