Decided to upgrade my brake system
drilled/slotted rotors installed............
brake pads installed/silicone brake fluid/pressure bled the system

Troubleshooting the center gauges and having problems getting everything functioning. Finally got the oil pressure gauge to quit pegging all the way to the right, but the fuel gauge wouldn't go to empty no matter what I did. Ran a separate wire straight to the tank and didn't make any difference at all.
Went ahead and pulled the tank out................ ran wires direct........... NO DICE ! After researching Stewart Warner fuel gauges, I checked the ohms, with the tank right-side up and up-side down. Ohms are 240 to 33................. GM needs to be 0 to 90 ohms !!!!!
Randy........................... Now we know why the sender was never hooked up........... they installed the wrong one !!!
Got the correct sender on the way from Summit......... hopefully, this will solve the problem ! Slow but sure !!! Rick

Randy, that sounds oh so familiar. We thought we were going to get a few bucks back this year, but big miscalculations and assumptions from our accountant is ending up costing us thousands now. Not happy, and back to really broke !!! Damnit!!! At least we can keep dreaming and going in the garage and look at the projects.... You don't need cash for that. Please warm weather, come to my house !!! Another snow storm for tomorrow- 6" more in some spots.
For now................. here's my stimulus ..............or whats stimulating me thru this bad economy !!!
Randy................as per our conversation the other day............ every time I start the mako.......... anyone sitting in the car will be warned to "HOLD ON !" This light will come on for 5 seconds every time I crank the ignition over !!!
A couple more weeks and I should be cranking her over............. Come on warm weather !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are overlays................. not very impressive when you get them in the mail, but once you install them........... they look awesome !!!!! I got the blue LED bulbs from them along with an install kit. Pretty inexpensive to purchase and easy to install............. once you have you gauges out !
They also offer other colors of overlays and bulbs........ pretty cool !
It is hard to take a good pic of these........... doesn't do 'em justice ! Rick
