GOOD LUCK
Thanks, from a guy that sells more corvette stuff than anyone I know, I'll take some good luck.
It kills me to sell this one but see what she does. If anyone os interested call me. This is a great car.
Ron, I hope that you get what the car is worth.
What I was saying in the earlier message is that
a car like yours "should" fetch a high dollar.
Set the bar high...

Marv and Wayne:
Thanks for your input guys, its good to hear other opinions. I currently have all three of my c-3's for sale. I was just premature stepping back in after doing our building and the capital from these cars is needed for other things, like debt reduction, just that plain and simple.
This is a really nice Maco, build quality of this car is better than (can I say this without all hell breaking loose, please no one be offended, everyone take a deep breath)the Moray Gt that I had, which is an outstanding car in its own right. There is another level of "finish" if you will to this car, front and rear bumpers, reversed Nova hood springs, etc, etc.
Like I said in my listings, why do a Kit Cobra when you can have something real? I think these Maco and other "DAY 2 modified" cars that were built "back in the day", correctly, will be 75k cars sometime in the next 10 years.
I intentionally bought these three cars to build and drive, time and money won't be available for 3 years, so they gotta go. I feel bad but I don't, you do what you need to do. I'll make sure these cars will find good homes, as the last two cars I sold did.
Everyone knows how the Moray GT ended up. The other car I had, the 68 427/435 coupe that I had and sold with the motion mods and zl-1 flares is almost completed after a two year body on. Guy who bought it kept the car true to its day two mods, found and had built a 512 block l-88 to put back in that car (as was done in 1968-69) and car will also have a hone-0-drive behind the tranny (which I sold with the car). Very private guy bought that car. I doubt that car will ever get any media attention or if it will ever be seen at any shows, high end executive guy that likes hi-po corvettes, and who had the capital to do the car right and 100%. I'm sad in a way that I sold those cars to, but they went to the right homes. I hope I can do the same with these cars.
Why did the guy settle for a 512 block in the 68 435, should have a 439 block in it. 512 is correct for mid 69 on up. Wayne

I don't think he settled for nothing, guy wanted a 512 block so thats what he got, it's his car, if he wants to put an allison diesel in it he can. To him, the magic block "from the day" was a 512 block, which he got and had built, 550hp solid lifter motor, car is being finished up at Rons Auto Restoration in Mass (thats were I picked up my LS-6 Motor that previously resided in that car).
That item number doesn't work when I tried to look it up.
Is that item number correct?
Post a link please.
