I had found a copy of this book years ago at a swap meet. I was looking at the book the other day and went on line to see if one was out their. To my surprise their I found one on Amazon.com . There are drawings of both makos and explinations of the differences.And pictures of the cars inside and out at the design studio. This one is used but in good condition thats listed and at the price it was in 1983. When you look it up it will be listed as (The Sensuous American Mako Shark ii) $55.00 plus shipping.Not my listing. Good Luck.

Hi McBrain, Total book has 88 pages. There are about 18 pages about the Mako and Manta Ray. The number of photos are 37 on those pages. The photos are of the clay models during design and during testing. Also design drawings and clay models not used along with explinations of why things were designed. Pictures of the frame. For instance the mako wheels were made deeper and the center cones were finned. This is some of the kind of information in this book. Along with other corvette models.
