OK, got to put my 2 cents worth in here dudes, Ron, lighten up , NOBODY put down the Burgandy 72 car. I , thats ME , did MONTHS of actual research on that car , did not send Rosen a dime because I felt more research was needed or he would not sign off on the car , I made that point very clear, and I was right, he would not sign off on the car. He still won't either. Everyone was and still was clear that the history of that particular car was still unknown or very cloudy before it was sold at the manhiem auto auction in the mid 70's . It's a great car , no doubt , could it have been Motion built ? YES , was it Motion built , not proven as of yet.Randy is maybe the most prominent authority on these cars on the planet, currently owns a Silva short tale car , a motion body car and a Bohannon car and has seen Motion kits built , owned new silva kits , basically studied these cars and parts for 30 plus years. inspected in detail my true Silva car , now in Italy , in detail inspected the 72 burgandy car , His opinions are based on years of study of MANY MANY cars and kits , because he digs these cars , not just a jump in speculator trying to turn a dime. This site is for friendly discussion and sharing of information of these cars and not using it as a forum for any other reasons. I have known Randy for years now and will not allow his comments on this site to be twisted around . I will state one thing from my actual ownership of 4 sharks, We love them but they don't get the money when you boil it down , look at the phase 3 GT that sold at barrett jackson last year , the gold one, the price reflects the truth , that car was wicked and real as can be , FULLY documented and a stock 435 horse could fetch that ammount if it was "right" and the stocker would be easier to sell. I am Johnnymaco and I approve this message , peace , love and sharks forever
