Actually, it would be easier if the car was steel. I did a ton of work to a friend of mines van. Most of which was a $6,000 audio/video system. His van has all gullwing doors on it. They are made with piano hinges welded to the body and door. it looks great- his van is around $110,000 now, so its also expensive. It's a 1980 chevy, with an 8" chop top to boot. The gullwings are more hassle than they are worth. The driver door has an alignment issue, that makes it rub and it's hard to open. I had to do some body repair and paint work to it to "hide" the problem, due to the fact- to fix it right requires more welding and a complete repaint. It also has shaved handles, so that just adds insult to injury... I'll put a picture of it on later...

This thread is really here for people looking to purchase a Mako Shark kit... I've shown a little restraint because I know new people don't understand the concept of posting on the board... please try to keep conversations in the right places.

People that have been here for a little while should know better then to hijack conversations.

Anything that isn't specifically Mako, Maco or Corvette related can go in the Lounge. Just post a new thread/create new topic.

Don't want to slow down the posting, just like to keep things organized for people that that search for things, or don't want to read about non-Maco things...
